This week, the product I have been obsessed with is 3D Fibre Lash mascara from Younique. I know this has been around for a while but I hadn’t really thought about getting it until I tried my friends. I was blown away by the difference it makes to my short, sparse lashes.
I am one of those people who is always searching for a way to make their eyelashes look longer and fuller; I also find it pretty much impossible to apply false eyelashes. I had come to terms with the fact that my eyelashes would always look pretty shit.
My friend’s cousin Tanya is a representative for Younique so Jodie (my friend) is forever buying things from there. When Jodie first mentioned 3D Fibre Lash to me I was slightly put off as I thought it was quite expensive. At £23 it is more than I would normally spend on a mascara but I can now definitely say it is worth it.
The packaging of the mascara is quite simple, which I like, & the fact it comes in a box is a plus. It also comes in a little pouch so that you can keep the 3D fibres and transplanting gel together which is handy.
You get two tubes; one is a transplanting gel and the other is the 3D fibres. You apply a coat of the transplanting gel, apply the 3D fibres over the top and then apply another coat of transplanting gel. One thing I would recommend is to use an eyebrow comb to separate your lashes after as otherwise the fibres can make your eyelashes look a bit clumpy which nobody wants! Also, be careful not to get the fibres in your eyes coz it can hurt a bit! I have however been told that the fibres are completely natural so if they do go in your eye they won’t cause any lasting damage.
One thing I am really impressed with is that on the side of the tubes there is a transparent window type thing so you can see when you are getting low and need to buy a replacement.
I am really pleased with the difference the 3D fibres make to my nearly non-existent eyelashes and I can’t believe it took me so long to finally try the mascara that people have been raving about for months. Once I run out I will definitely be buying a replacement.
